Hellebores at night

Hellebores at night

The modest little green blooms of Hellebores are the only winter flowers in our garden other than a pot of Pansies at the end of our driveway. One of the small egg-shaped flowers can be seen camouflaging amongst the bright green leaves in the lower left corner of the picture. Hellebores plants do a great job of reseeding themselves, providing plenty of seedlings to share with friends for their yards.
